About

My name is Aythami,

I was born and raised in a small city in a small island.

Even tough I didn’t see myself as a city person when I moved to Europe to a countryside village I started to understand and see that I needed to adapt. And I adapted quite good till the point I started to be interested on the fascinating world of growing your own food and eat it! Fresh from the garden! Without going to the shop! I fell in love with the idea, then a deep feeling started to grow on me: I need to work with Nature.

After many mistakes at the beginning were I tilled my soil or I leave it uncover during the winter (still hurts this experience haha) the more I progressed growing food I understood that it’s not about growing food itself. It’s about store water, cultivate the soil, build sustainable systems where everything is in harmony, where we work less but sill obtains a yield, where we let Nature do her best without interfering, just observing and learning.

In 2023 I lost my IT job looking for what to do with my life I stumbled upon a book called One-Straw Revolution by Masanobu Fukuoka and as a consequence this website was created.

In 2024 I traveled around Spain and Italy volunteering in farms also obtained my Permaculture Design Certificate and the message about working with Nature and share with others grew deeper roots on myself.

About

The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings.
